Moving to a new city, living in a city can really suck the life out of you sometimes. Day in, day out surrounded by people and cars and tall buildings. I’m living in Bergen, a city in Norway: somewhere where I can always see the sky (even if it tends to be a bit grey) and I can always see some mountains, but still, it’s a city.
Sometimes it gets too easy to forget the feeling of exhilaration of being on an adventure. In fact, no matter where you life, I believe you should get into the habit of always going on small adventures no matter when you can.
Small adventures (and big adventures) broaden your perspective, liven up your spirit, and really make you feel alive.
I wanted to share some pictures from a recent small adventure Maria and I took to the top of the Ulriken, a mountain within the city. You can find more about the Ulriken here.
All photos were taken with my trusty Yashica-Mat on Fuji Superia 100. Fantastic film!
