So for everyone who doesn’t know, I had been engaged in a contest to win a free (old) Nikon (film) camera. I won! Thanks to everyone who voted.
Just yesterday, I got to pick it up and meet it’s previous owner (or current owner at the time), Scott Kingsley. Scott is an independent professional photographer from the area who has also had experience working as a photographer for the newspaper. He actually used this Nikon F4 taking photos for the paper! That’s pretty awesome. We had a brief but engaging chat and he showed me the workings and intricacies of this beast. I can’t wait to get a lens and start shooting!
